We hired Lewitt Construction to build our custom dream home . The work performed was extensive and varied, and all of it was performed with the same degree of construction quality and concern for aesthetic detailing. We were really impressed with the excellent customer service, great coordination with us and our Architect and a keen attention to detail. Ed and the crew demonstrated strong vision, professionalism, pragmatism and creativity throughout the project. We demolished large parts of our 1960s house's interior and rebuilt it in modern/minimalist style using top quality materials. Also replaced a large deck, windows and the facade at the back. Provided a fixed quote of the price upfront, which it respected, and executed rapidly and effectively. All personnel we dealt with were honest, courteous, diligent, professional and skilled throughout the project. We are exceptionally satisfied with the results - we got exactly what we wanted.

I did a major renovation with Lewitt construction several years ago. The renovation was very substantial where an old 1920 house was essentially rebuilt in a modern open space house, while keeping the old brick walls in place. The renovation took over 1 year of execution and was completed in the estimated time and budget. There were a few variations mainly on finishes or additional feature from the original quotation and they were all quoted and approved by us. The house turned out beatififul and Lewirt was a well deserved best renovation of the year in its category for this project. Is has now been over 5 years after the project and everything has worked extremely well and held up well. Lewitt also provided exceptional after built service for anything we ever need to add, repair or maintain. I recommended Lewitt to my business partner , who also did a major renovation with them and had great experience. I highly recommend this company and I would do another renovation with them without hesitation.

Lewitt Construction Inc renovated our attic into a liveable, multipurpose space with 3 piece bathroom and walk out deck. Neighbours commented frequently how incredible they were - neat, polite and professional. Their work is of top quality and they have since been hired by neighbours to complete other work.

Lewitt came recommended by our architect. We had a great experience with them. First, there was transparency and predictability in the pricing. While they were slightly higher than some other quotes, there was no surprises. Next, they were conscientious. It felt like we had hired a caring (and extremely skilled) family member to work on our house. They paid attention to the details - for weeks wed walk in and see little pieces of green tape pointing out imperfections to touch up in the drywall. From a social standpoint- our neighbours liked them. Whenever we dropped by, there was a nice congenial vibe. Their office manager was a delight to work with too - kind and a clear communicator. They were on time. They finished the extensive project in a few months, according to the original schedule. They worked closely with us when we had a potential delay with our floor order.

From concept to completion we are very happy with the degree of service, innovation and construction quality. The team was courteous and professional. Ed and his team respond quickly to any questions or concerns and dealt with issues professionally. The entire process ran smoothly from beginning to end and required very little oversight. The team was always on time, kept the site clean and organized and was dedicated to the outcome throughout the duration of the project. The end result was a modern and contemporary design and we are thrilled with the final product.

In 2007 we decided to double the size of our home. This is easily the most frightening endeavour a homeowner can undertake. We had plans from an architect.

We interviewed five contractors and right from the first meeting Ed inspired confidence in our job. We had several estimates. Lewitt was not the cheapest but it was the most realistic in our opinion. By the end of the job the values that we expected from ED were delivered. Lewitt Construction was on time and on budget. Job progress updates were provided with each payment along the way. This was comforting and well organised. The team that Ed brought to our site every day were personable and professional. They were also problem solvers. No renovation is with out it’s head-scratching issues that need a special solution, engineered on site. Lewitt was always there with that solution.

The workmanship was very good and the pricing was fair. Thanks Ed for great job! 4 years later… all is still working just as it should.
